Why does my voter registration say I’m inactive?

A voter can become inactive for one of the following reasons:

• Your absentee ballot was returned as undeliverable and you did not respond to a confirmation mailing sent to you by the county Election Office.
• You did not vote in a Federal Election and you did not respond to two confirmation mailings sent to you by the county Election Office.
